Anyway, here is the next pointless point I would like to make.

I don't know if I'm the only one but every time I'm in a position to watch a movie or video(long or short) for the FIRST time it kinda seems to run in slow motion.

The first time I watch any video or movie I tend to notice details. Like the background, colors, cloths, brands(if there are any),... The most bluffing are the movements. Practically every move the actors or animation characters make seems like in slow motion, precise and clear; it doesn't blure like fast moves usually do.

Where as scenes keep changing I have trouble following. The story line is clear, and I can remember the main, important scenes but the others just blur. What was the scene before this scene or after that one. Kinda like a moving car/train... when you're watching out side the window, for the life of you you can't remember what was the tree you saw a second ago(if it was not somewhat rememberable) and in the next second there is another tree so you don't have the time too think abouth it too much...

On the other hand when I watch the same video for the second or third time it's the other way around. The details blur as scenes become clear.

You're not the only. Before I say few more things about that what you said, I'll tell you why this is happening, because, I somehow know that.

When for the first time you're watching the movie, you are exited, and you have no idea what will happen. Because you watch it for the first time, you simply wanna look around and see everything. And you probably already know - when looking at on word, the other becomes blurry.

While watching the movie second time, you already know what is happening at the movie, at least the basic story. You maybe didn't notice something at the beginning of the movie when you watched it the first time, because you taught it's not necessary to know But now, you already know, that, for example, the main character will day, and when somebody says something, you already connect it with the end of the movie. To explain it clearer, your mind already contains the information about the next part of the movie, and you automatically connect the current scene with the following and the part of the movie that already happened.

But, when you're watching it for the first time, you have no idea what will happen at the end of the movie, so your mind only connects the scene with something that happened before.

The same thing is happened to me, but not that much with the movies, but with the songs. It's not that I can notice details, but the 3-minute song that I'm listening for the first time is looking much longer than the five-and-a-half-minute song (I got the song in mind, it's "Sunao na Niji", the longest song in the world). When I listen to the song again, I already know the words and it starts being fun singing them in my head. I wlready know about the next part again, and my brain prepares me for the next part. But, while listening it for the first time, I didn't know what will the lyrics go later, so I couldn't already have the nexty part in mind...

But that's just the complicated way of our brains...

Yeah, the brain is a great thing. The whole body is.
I love watching documentaries and science shows, and probably every second episode is about our body and they are always interesting.
It's grand how the brain can make time go faster or slower because our time perception isn't the same as a clocks.

The other day our teacher gave us a puzzle in class to get a point across. His point is besides the point right now as well is his undeclaration if he will ever give us the correct answer.

The riddle went like this:

Romeo and Julia were both found dead together on the floor of a Egyptian Villa. There was a broken vase besides them. There were no sings of poisoning, injury or suicide. How did they die?

O_O; Shouldn't this be in "riddles"? :/

No because I don't know the answer. He didn't tell us.
