| Hey guys! This thread is all about our differences with use of the English language or just language in general. In Britain, people call napkins diapers and call diapers napkins! Isn't that strange to some of our American users here? It still too strange for me >.< Or instead of calling our TV's "TV" in Britain it's "Telly" instead of "TV". (I like saying Telly, makes it sound more interesting and less "robot-like" ) | |

| We call nothing diapers. Napkins are napkins. We call 'diapers' 'nappies'. XD
Also, we mostly say TV. Practically no one says telly.
You says 'pants', we say 'trousers'.
You say 'underwear', we say 'pants'.
You say 'mom', we say 'mum'.
You say 'jelly', we say 'jam'.
Those are the only ones I can think of right now (remember, I'm English ;D).

(For the people that don´t know a bit of Geography, Lisbon´s the capital of Portugal) Warning Level : Favorite Turtle : It´s very hard to choose cause they all have different personalities. Leo because he cares about his family more than anything else. Raph because he´s not what he appears to be, he´s actually a nice person (or should I say turtle?). Don is the most sensitive and intelligent of the 4 and, who could forget about Mikey? I love him because he´s got a free spirit and can put everyone LOL, even in danger situations. | So many differences! In here´s the same between Portuguese and Portuguese from Brasil. I think Portuguese from Brasil´s terrible. Although, it´s easier to learn. Meh, I still hate it. ;P
