TMNT 5

Everyone excited about the new movie? For those who don't know about it:

TMNT 5 will be a CGi-hybrid live-action film coming out in 2011!!

They won't be using the familiar puppetry from the first original movies, they'll be using Face Replacement technology (seen Pirates Of The Caribbean 2? Davey Jones and his octopus-like face? That's a great example of FRT )

And get this, it will be about the turtles origins (I don't believe they said "prequal" but it would definitely brush up on the turtles history).

The producers will be the same guys that helped make "The Dark Knight". They said that this new film TMNT 5 will be on the more "sophisticated side", maybe a bit more blood? Action? Realism? I have plenty of guesses, but at least I know for sure it will be also for a more mature audience.

Well, "the dark knight" was really sucky movie by screenscript and choise of actors... but still, I'm a little bit too mad tmnt freak to not to be excited to see something new of my favourite half-beasts. And I adore those FPT thing, as I hate the fakish costumes such as those that were used in oldie movies, and I do not appreciate such a fooly cartoonish style of characters as in latest CGI movie. Yes, I know, I may be too critical as "the critic" is my second nature.

But, if there still will be the love to tmnt in my metamorphosic heart in 2011 year, I'll see, I'll see...

Yeah, that is right for sure. Interesting what actors will play characters.

Which actors would YOU choose for the roles of tmnt and their family/friends/foes? Like, let's imagine that you can choose anyone - Bruce Willis or, I dunno, Johnny Depp... For each turtle bro at least?

2011? Now I swill spend around 800 more days asking myself about the new movie.

With the frequent updates on how the movie is progressing, music, actors, actresses and screen shots of course. You gotta love the hype they put out in all of this :bounce:

Well, I meant which actors would fit each of tmnt. Forget 'bout those dam' costumes! If to choose Johnny Depp, he would perfectly act Donnie. For Raph...euhm...Vin Diesel! XD For Leo and Mikey... dunno really... can't recall any appropriate actors for 'em...

Wait... will it or will it not look like the last film?

I'm all for the Shredder, but I like Karai a lot, and seeing as the turtles didn't meet Karai until after the Shredder 'died', I'll be sad.

Please tell me the movie won't be people in turtle costumes... D:

Sorry, but I'm kinda dumb. I did read it, but I got muddled. I kinda understand now, and I don't mind the costumes.

However, I did like the TMNT movie's style.
