TMNT Top 10 Episodes

I thought that one would have been higher on the countdown

well as much as i like it, it tends to get boring after a while so even though i'm glad it got into the top 10, i'm also glad it wasn't in the higher ranks.

I agree, though I think it should have gotten to #7 or so. :/ 10's a bit... low. Myeh, as long as the other episodes are awesome.

Y'know, I can't watch the countdown. I want to move to the USA. D: And Same as it Never Was will win, won't it? =_=

SAINW is the coolest episode because it involves dark things, and makes TMNT more "mature", unlike the rest of episode which were way too childish. Darkness Within (DW) wasn't dark episode it all, it was rather childish like the rest of the series. If you think darkness is "possesing" other people, that's very wrong. I really don't find DW any good episode, in fact, one of my least favourite episode, exactly because they tried to make it dark, but they failed because they involved many childish things. The most childish thing in the episode was the appearance of red eyes in "possesed" characters, which made things easy to recognize if someone is 'real' or not real. DW is same as all other episodes, and doesn't deserve to be called 'dark' episode.

Insane in Membrane (IIM) isn't really dark iether, despite the fact that Stockman starts toring apart. Rather, it's pretty childish because of the lack of blood and vbery, very common and unoriginal past of a great sciencest who was good in past, and turned bad because of some random thing which happen, and after turning into a psyhopathe. IIM also lacks blood. The fact you see someone's 'skin' torning apart isn't dark at all, and, as i said before that episode of completely unoriginal and was seen milions of times in other cartoons, books, movies, or whatever you like to read or watch.

Therefore, I must disagree with people who find episodes IIM and DW 'dark', coz they're not dark at all, and, as i stated before, are rather childish than dark.

However, SAINW is something completely different. It's said millions of times why it is the darkest episode, and i aggree with every argument about it. The only thing I'd add is a little bit blood during slicing with sword. Why do I like SAINW and think it's not childish? Because it has a much different storyline, we see turtles as mature beings, there is a deep development characters in just one episode, and, what's more, it doesn't have the usual happy ending, which makes the episode even more mature.

A year ago, Yorae's made a opening for SAINW, and said "I wish there was a huge anime series based on SAINW episode". And I completely aggree with her. A huge and great story could be made form SAINW, and I think you axcn't really tell that for DW and IIM (which is the point of good episode, if you can make the whole series be interesting and awesome, than it means the episode is good. The longer series you can make, the better episode is). Of course, Yorae's opening would fit awesome.

I found the skeletons darkish (and the glowing red eyes lolsome. Dark things can be funny). I think what I liked was their inner fears and such. :] SAINW was dark too, but... I dunno. I think it just freaked me out a bit. xD It's all a matter of opinion. I think SAINW was interesting and mature. Much more interesting and mature than the other episodes. Still, matter of opinion.

SAINW would make an interesting mini series (IM and DW wouldn't, I admit). But I would want a SAINW Donnie in it. ;3

EDIT: SAINW was dark, but in a different way. In a mature kind of way. DW was a creepy kind of dark. IM was just creepy. I can't see why they didn't air it where you guys live. Insane in the Membrane aired on TV where I live, and I was fine with it.

EDIT2: I think I have something wrong with my head. My opinion of things changes like, weekly. o_O I said SAINW was average?? It's a good episode that scares me. Not my number 1 fav, but probably in my top ten.

there is actually a fan comic named after the episode that tells what happened before that episode, how mikey lost his arm, how splinter died, etc... one of mirage's people (Lawson) has taken notice and even drawn a cover for it. I haven't read it all yet but what i have read, it is AWESOME!

oh and about that fan opening, i have it on my sansa media player and showed it to an old fan of the TMNT (movies and 80s cartoon) and now they want to check that episode out and the rest of the series

#9 has aired, how the heck did a BTTS episode get in?! Please, PLEASE let that be the only one (and we don't need any FF in the list). I'd take ANY episode over FF and BTTS, even the stupidest TMNT 2003 episodes like Nano and The Garbageman!

I want 1 FF episode in it- DNA is thicker than water. That is actually a good episode. Bodyjacker one is funny, but not Top Ten material.

yes that's the episode, it's the only BTTS episode i've watched aside from the first one. all i have to say is i feel sorry for raph, i get the feeling he gets treated that way a lot in BTTS. (he was turned into a frog)

Obviously 4Kids is doing tricks. FF and BTTS just can 't get into the top 100, no to talk about top 10.

that or the sane tmnt fans just stopped watching it every saturday/sunday when BTTS was airing and didn't hear about it. i didn't know about it until i saw info posted on the official tmnt website, if they hadn't posted that i might never have known.

I wouldn't say 1, and despite me not liking the episode a great deal, I agree it should have scored higher.

#6 is Attack of the Mousers. not a bad episode, but i could think of better ones.

I'm going to read rest of the list. They better don't make the first episode be FF and BTTS coz I'm gonna hack the CW website. It sucks anyway. And TMNT official site as well. And everything. Just leave SAINW.

One of them should be Things Change, only because it's the first episode. But seeing as Attack of the Mousers is in the top 10... Maybe something else.

I want Shredder Strikes Back Part 2... But it probably won't get in, what with the lame top 10 so far (not that all the episodes in it are bad, but come on... FF and BttS shouldn't be in it, except maybe DNA is Thicker than Water).

I totally agree with you all.... SAINW rocks! It just be on the top 3!! I mean, it so much about every character in that episode... you can watch it over and over and you will still be founding great things about it. I just love it!
