It's Raining Mystery

"Mikey..." Leo warned, but the youngest paid no heed.

"I mean, you fight crime, right? Cuz like, it's the only way you can do anything without the humans hunting us down. And it's the right thing to do anyway, y'know?" he said with a grin.

Muse stirred when she heard someone growl. Her eyes quickly focused and her body surged upwards when she saw a giant turtle?! pointing a sharp-looking weapon at a girl!

"Hey!" She yelled, scrambling off the couch and standing before the girl, so the turtle's weapon was almost touching her face. "I don't know who the heack you are, but leave her alone!" She yelled, then paused. "Where am I, anyway?"

"See Raph? I told you your face wasn't meant to be woken up to!" Mikey snickered.

Raph growled. "Can it shell-fer-brains!"

Mikey grinned."Yep! The hero would be over here!"

Don shook his head. "You know Mikey, hero usually have just a tiny sense if a thing called humility."

"That would be correct, young one." An ancient-sounding voice said from behind Muse, who shrieked and jumped aside when she realized there was a giant rat standing behind her. "My sons, who are these people?" He asked and all the turtles flinched slightly before Raph pushed Leo forward.

"Oh, sorry I'm an idiot, I forgot to introduce myself!" The brunette apologized, hiding her face in her hands. She laughed suddenly, looking at the slightly-worried mutants around her. "I'm Musila Cain, but you can just call me Muse. And just so you know, my last name means chaos, so consider this a warning of how insane I can get." She beamed.

"Yeeeaaah... We'll keep that in mind..." Leo eyed her warily.

"In the meantime, I have made dinner, and no one's eating! Les go! I'm starving anyway!" Mikey said, remembering his hardworking was getting cold.

"Food!" Muse promptly disappeared and appeared behind Mikey. "I'm starving!"

Splinter sighed as Lisa and Raph continued to glare each other down. "Miss Lisa, perhaps ypu would like to replenish yourself with a meal. I'm sure after tonights events, you are weary." He raised a hand to silence Raphael, who had opened his mouth to protest against the idea.

"More's the merrier!" Muse yelled from the kitchen and Splinter sighed. She was just like Mikey...which reminded him, he still needed to ask his sons why they had brought her back here, and not taken her to the hospital.

"Raphael!" Splinter reprimanded his son before turning to Lisa and Muse. "You may both stay the remainder of the night if you wish, then my sons can escort you to your homes before sunrise." He offered and Muse smiled at the elderly rat.

"That sounds nice. I still have to find a hotel to stay in." She said. "I only just got loose in NYC."

Splinter was confused at her choice of words. 'Just got loose'?

Realizing how she must have sounded, she continued her smile and quickly shuffeled passed the confused rat and took her seat as Mikey cheerfully passed out the plates for dinner.

Hair: Almost shoulder length, dark brown with a two permanent streaks of deep red running through his bangs from absorbing the Dark Phoenix from Jean Grey, one of the X-Men.

Weight: 140 lbs
Strength: Not much physically, but can lift a good amount.
Agility: Not much.
Powers?: Whenever Regnet makes skin-on-skin contact with someone, their powers and lifeforce flow into him, and he copies the power, in a way, just like his sister Rogue, one of the X-Men. Unlike Rogue, the contact creates a psychic link between Regnet and his "victim", which allows Regnet to hear the thoughts of the people he's absorbed in his head. He also absorbs every thought the person has ever had. Regnet's ability causes the same physical damage as Rogue's does(usually a short coma or unconciousness), and also some mental jarring when the connection is created. For an unknown reason, his powers don't work on Nightcrawler, or Kurt Wagner, another X-Man.
Fighting Style: Regnet relies heavily on the powers of others he's absorbed, often switching them as the situation calls for it. He never wears gloves during battle, and uses his absorbtion abilties if he has to.
Personality: Regnet has an attitude sometimes, but can also be kind to people. He's always trying to entertain people to cover up what he sees as his "flaws"
Back Story: Regnet was found on the road by Storm an X-Man, and the only things he knew about himself was that he was from Louisiana and his mother and father from Germany. He picked out the new name for himself, Regnet, which means "rain" in German, because it had been raining the day that Storm had brought him to Xavier school. His powers manifested on his 16th birthday, and he accidentally absorbed the thoughts of his mother, grandmother, and father. This combined with their lifeforces wiped out most of Regnet's memory, except for the little he knows. Professor X, finding out his power, did a DNA test on Regnet and Rogue, another X-Man, which came back positive for twins. Regnet eventually, after some training, joined the team. Regnet absorbed the Dark Phoenix from teammate Jean Grey, and Phoenix appeared to him after Jean was supposedly killed, telling Regnet to free her, and that if he did, she would fix all his problems. He did, and he took in the Dark Phoenix, the good part ressurecting Jean. Dark Phoenix is now a whole different personality in Regnet's head, seperate from his own, and she has, at times, taken him over.
Good or Bad: Good, but on certain occasions can be very vengeful and mean.
Any love interests?: None I can say.

Regnet almost didn't agree to Logan's mission for him. Apparently, the other X-Men were busy, and the Professor said Regnet was one of the best people for the job. He was supposed to find four mutant turtles. They lived in the sewers. Gross. Why he'd been chosen, Reg didn't know. Kurt was eighteen, just like Reg, so the age couldn't matter.

He shrugged, feeling the Phoenix say something. "You didn't have to listen to him, you know." Regnet almost replied, but then looked down, then sideways at the building adress, then down at the sewer lid. "Professor X owes me."

A few minutes later, Regnet stopped at a door. He concentrated, bringing up the Phoenix so her power was at the front, and pulling his gloves on tighter. He felt her fiery light in his eyes, and knocked on the door.

Regnet almost jumped back when the door opened and a giant turtle was standing in front of him. He managed to get the action down to a minor flinch, recomposing himself. "My name's Regnet D'Acanto." he held out his gloved hand to the turtle, continuing. "I'm...from the Xavier School For Gifted Youngsters, up in Westchester. It's a school for mutants...you'll be safe there."

Regnet wasn't sure if the offering sounded peaceful enough, and praying it did, he swept one of his dark red streaked bangs away from his eyes. "And your friends are welcome as well."

Raph scoffed. "A school fer mutants? Feh! As if we don't got enough problem..." he muttered.

"Well, like I said it's a..." the way the rat was staring at him was unnerving. Did he sense the Phoenix? Or was that just his natural stare. Reg continued. "It's not me personally, my headmaster, Professor Charles Xavier, sent me. He wanted to let you know that the Institute's doors are open to everyone." Regnet knew he sounded cliche'. Hearing his phone ring, he looked at it. It was Kurt. "Vas?" he said, speaking in German. Though he usually didn't, he liked speaking the language with someone who was as fluent as he was. His parents had been from the country, and had taught him. Kurt was from Munich, Germany himself.

"Nein, mein Freund. Erzähl Logan ich dort bin. Right. Sprechen uns später." Regnet said, hanging up and looking back at them and waiting for an answer.

Regnet turned on Raphael. "Charles Xavier's done more for mutants than you'll ever know. Even ones like you." He'd come to respect Xavier after being at the Institute for two years. He'd taken him in, taught him how to control his powers, even though there wasn't much he could do. And now, ever since the Phoenix had become part of Reg as well as Jean, Prof had been helping anyway he could.
