TMNT University

Okay, I'm used to a bit more formal setting for Roleplays (more so if there will be more than two people playing in it). I'm a little OCD about roleplays.

S'okay, here goes. I got the idea from this picture: TMNT U Class Photo and thought it was just adorable. I think it links to a DA group or something, but I liked it and the idea of it.

In an alternate universe the turtles are not hated, feared, or anything like that. In fact, they are school teachers. Raphael teaches gym, Don teaches science and lit., Mikey teaches art, and Leonardo teaches history.

The turtles are being played by me (you can play them for short scenes if absolutely needed, but try to PM me first). I'm more leaning towards the game being about the students. Humans and non-humans interacting. It would be a mutant school (but humans are allowed).

This is a school setting (preferably all characters 16-18 in age) so puppy love and such is allowed, but remember:

"Ready for another year, Bros?" the hyperactive turtle jumped over the back of the small couch in the teacher's lounge. It was the beginning of a new school year and the new-year dance was going to begin in just an hour or so. It was tradition for the night before the first day to be a dance for new and existing students.

Leo set his coffee down and rolled his eyes, "Calm down, Mikey. It's the same every year. You get all worked up and end up passing out early because you wasted all your energy running around all day and we get stuck taking care of all the new kids."

"I ain't picking up your slack again this year," Raphael added in a snap.

"Neither am I. I have a hard enough time with my half of the students. I don't need anymore," Donatello wandered over to a mirror and adjusted his tie, "We should get going. The first of the students will be arriving soon. Headmaster Splinter doesn't want any of them unsupervised in the gym. Remember last year? The kid that ended up duct-taped to the pole at the start of the dance because we weren't there."

Yes, they all remembered the fiasco of last year's dance and shuddered.

"OMG! My first school dance!" Maria thought to herself and entered in the school.
Before we return to our story, let me introduce myself. Hi! My name´s Maria Catarina but friends just call me Maria. I´ve got amber eyes and brown curly hair. I´m 17 and my favourite subjects are Arts and Science (And yes, I´m a human). I moved to New York a few weeks ago with my parents because they wanted to change our life style. I think that´s all I have to say, so let´s return to the before-school-dance...
Since I didn´t knew anybody and I was bit lost cause that school was huge, I decided to go to the teachers lounge to ask for directions. I oppened the door and asked "Can someone help me?"

(sorry if the introduction of my character´s a bit long!)

The four of them weren't the only teachers, but they were the most well known and generally the only ones willing to chaperon the dances. It was usually Mikey that talked them into it. After all, it wasn't like they had much else to do with their time.

They were busy getting their suit jackets on and ties straighten when the knock surprised them, "I got it!" Michelangelo rushed to the door.

"It's not home, Mikey. Come on in!" the gym teacher yelled out before Mikey could reach the door.

"Killjoy..." he muttered and opened the door somewhat, not too shocked to see a student. While the school was known by the city of New York, it was still a bit daunting for new students to see the four of them, "What ya need help with?"

[I might as well join as Kaida. *makes her age*]

I lay on my bed, looking up at the ceiling. It was my first day here and it felt so... weird. I had been one of the first to arrive here and I had been allowed to choose my own room. I would probably have to share it but oh well. Life's life, you know?

My name's Kaida. That means dragon. No idea why I was given that name. Dragons are big and they breathe fire. I'm rather small and although I have a strong personality, I rarely lose my temper. Mutant turtles are rather small, I guess. Me being 16 and small will probably make me the smallest here. Unless a dwarf joins.

I shook my head. My father always told me to focus and stop daydreaming. I have a bad habit of thinking and going off into a tangent. Not a good thing, most of the time.

"Yes I´m new here and I don´t know were the gym is. Could you please take me there? And by the way, my name´s Maria" I said to the teacher. He was a giant mutant turtle and behind him, were three other giant turtles. I had never met a mutant before, until that moment. "They must be brothers" I thought.

(I'm going to add a student that had been there the year before to help lead the new students around a bit and not have to rely on the turtles all the time. ^__^)

Janet sighed as she slung her purse over her shoulder after pulling out her small compact. She checked herself out in the mirror for a moment before tossing it back into her large messenger bag. It was her second year at 'Mutant High' and she wasn't looking forward to the dance. The new human students freaked out a bit and the mutant/anthro students got a laugh out of it or hid in the corners of the room scared to talk.

The girl wasn't a mutant, but she was an anthropomorphic being. Her mother had been human, but her father had been a mutant Iguana. That left her as a human-Iguana hybrid. Instead of hair she had a thick line of soft spikes down the center of her head that went down to the tip of her long, scaly tail.

Her favorite subject was Literature and she hoped the new students this year were nicer than the ones last year. Janet pushed the door to her room open and was surprised to see a girl already there, Hi, I'm...ummm...Janet. You?" she questioned the small turtle girl, Kaida.



"Of course we can. We were just heading there," Leonardo smiled softly at Maria. She was human and he wanted to make sure that none of them caught her off guard or scared her. While most humans that came here had a history with mutants or anthros, not all of them were and he didn't want to scare any of them by making sudden movements, "I'm Professor Leonardo."

The four brothers all got themselves together before leading Maria towards the stairs that led down to the gym, "We didn't have many new students last year, so it's wonderful to hear that you're going to be attending school here. I'm Professor Donatello."

"I'm Raphael," he walked up next to her and pushed the door that was nearing them open. He never added the 'professor' part since he didn't really have formal training as a teacher of any kind, "The weirdo back there is Michelangelo."

I tried not to laugh when Raphael said that but I couldn´t. Professor Michelangelo looked at me with an angry face. "Sorry. It´s a pleasure to meet you and it´s an honor being in this great school" I said to them.

"I'm Kaida," I said, getting up and peering at her. She must have been one of my roommates. I gave her a big grin and said, "It's nice to meet you."

"So, how long do you teach here at "Mutant High"?" I asked to the mutant turtles. We were in a large corridor, with lots of lockers, a big showcase with some trophies and on the floor was painted the school symbol.

"Nice to meetcha' too," her accent showed through despite her efforts to control it, "Guess we're roommies," Janet smiled lightly, "At least you're not a human. They put me with a human last year and she freaked out. Apparently she was okay with mutants, just not sharing a room with them. She got all paranoid," the iguana girl shrugged a bit before tossing her bag onto the nearest bed, "You going to the dance?"

"Our father is actually the headmaster here. So we've been teaching here since the school started. He wanted a safe place for mutants and non-mutants to be able to study and live," Leonardo knew the world knew of mutants, but that didn't mean that everyone accepted them.

"What made you decide to come here?" Donatello wasn't the only one curious. Humans came here for a variety of reasons.

"My parents and I moved to New York a few weeks ago and I really wanted to study here because people say that it´s one of the best schools in the world" I explained to them. I was really nervous cause before the mutants have been accepted by humans, my family and my friends used to tell me that mutants were horrible and wild creatures, without the capacity of having compassion, but these turtles seemed really friendly.

((I doubt I'll even completely feel better till I have surgery, but *crosses fingers for no pain today*))

Donatello smiled lightly when he heard her say that it was one of the best schools, "Of course it is. I teach here," he wasn't normally smug, but he couldn't deny his own intelligence, "Here's the gym..."

Raphael pushed the door open for her. It was already decorated and there was a table of drinks and food. Mikey quickly wandered off to make sure all the decorations were in place and the music was okay. Leo lead Maria around, "What will your main area of study be? Each of us is a student adviser and depending on what classes you're focusing on will determine who you'll be in contact with the most."

I frowned, thinking about the dance. I shrugged, "Maybe. I don't really dance though. Or wear fancy dresses, let alone clothes... and I wouldn't have anyone to go with."

Not that I really cared. I hadn't seen a decent enough male yet.

"My main areas of study will be Sciences, Arts and also a bit of History. I can´t decide if I want to be a scientist, a painter or an archeologist, so I´m studying these areas at the same time" I responded. We were near a table that had some foods and drinks. I asked Professor Leonardo "Do you want some punch?". I was too shy to dance so I decided to stay there, unless somebody invites me.

As I walked down the halls of my new school, I felt fear find it's way into my heart. I never liked new things. New things ment new people. New people ment new ridicule for me being an anthro. It was very obvious that I was different since I had two large cat ears potruding from my head, cutting through my long, almost lavander hair. My ears clasiffied that I was a cat person. My almost lavander hair ended at the small of my back. My eyes were a rusty red and my skin pale. My name was Tensu Neko and I was 16. I clutched cross that hung from my neck and thought about the younger sibling I left behind to come here. Images of my younger twin brother, Kentaro, my 14 year old sister, Kaori, and my baby brother, the eight year old Yukio flashed before my eyes. It had been hard to leave them, but I decided to get a good education where I wouldn't be ridiculed for the way I looked. I had hoped Kentaro would come with me, but he was watching over our younger siblings for me, since I could no longer do it myself.

Aone stepped quietly down the hallways and toward the gym. Since joining Mutant High several years back she'd gotten to know her way around the school quite well, perhaps even better than the turtles did, but she never talked. To anyone. Not if she could help it. Nor did anyone know anything about her, except for her name, age and mutation. And that was only on her school enrollment form.

Name: Aone Taola
Age: 19
Mutation/Power: Left side human body, right side robotic body. Left eye red, right eye blue. Can connect to internet-using devices at will (mind connection)

Aone slowly pushed one of the doors to the gym open, wincing when it squeaked loudly, drawing the turtle's attention to it.

"Who´s that? Or what´s that?" I asked Professor Leonardo and pointed to the half human, half robot, but before he could answer, I ran towards the girl. "My name´s Maria. What´s your name?" I asked her. Usually, I´m a really shy person but this time, it was different.

"Aone." The girl whispered quietly before stepping away from the doors. She walked across to 'talk' to Leo, who was talking to Don again.

"That girl was a bit rude. She´s just shy" I thought and acidentally walked to the middle of the dance floor. Professor Michelangelo was dancing there. I wanted to dance too but I just froze.

I reached the dance floor and crossed my arms. There was no way that I was going to dance. I don't dance, it's a solid as rock fact. I look like I'm having a seizure when I'm dancing. My old guardian had thought that once and would have driven me to hospital, if there was one for mutant turtles. Which, you know, there isn't. Duh.

I leaned against the wall and pretended that no one else was there. That way, I didn't feel as dorky.

I finally found the gym. It took me a while since I had been looking on the other side of the school, but I found the blasted gym. I looked around at the brightly decorated gym. Only a few people were here and some mutants who I was guessing were a few of the professors. I quietly crossed the gym and sat down at a table by myself. I had a book with me incase I got bored or no one talked to me. I was a bit of a bookworm, I would admit that.

After I left the dance floor, I sat on a chair and next to me was a mutant cat girl reading a book. "What are you reading?" I asked her.

After having a whispered conversation with Leo, Aone walked toward the back of the hall, but stopped when she saw 2 girls sitting at a table, one with a book.

"Hi Chrystal, Maria." She said quietly as she sat down. Just there was a beep from Maria's phone and Aone smiled after sending a message using her power to Maria's cell: Sorry I don't talk much, but I'm shy, and it hurts to talk.
