X-Men? And TMNT? What?

I don't really know how we're going to do this. I guess it's a free for all. Yes. You can play any character you want at any time, well, as long as it makes sense. You must always write in third person point-of-view, though. So if you play Donatello and Logan (that'd be a weird mix) in the same thread, it doesn't matter that no one is assigned a canon character, you can play them. Also, you might want to try and claim an OC to write normally so that you don't find yourself sticking with one canon character; they'll come in and out of the story as needed.

Unfortunately, I'm going to bring the story to the X-Men's mansion so that they have a base where all mutants can blend together without having to hide themselves, and so they can all fit together comfortably. So somehow the turtles have made that place their own, and we'll have Master Splinter currently missing. Professor Xavier is still in charge of the school. Main X-Men (which there will be a lot of them) will be Wolverine (Logan/James Howlett), Storm (Ororo Monroe), Cyclops (Scott Summers), Phoenix (Jean Grey), Nightcrawler (Kurt Wagner), Gambit (Remy LeBeau), Rogue (Ann Marie . . . something), Iceman (Bobby Drake), Angel (Warren Worthington III), Beast (Hank McCoy), Colossus (Piotr Rasputin) and Shadowcat (Kitty Pryde). You can also add in the New Mutants, if you wish. Of course the TMNT will be the four, no added others, such as Venus.

Requirements for each post: Write in third person point-of-view for fluency of the posts; write at least five sentences in each post so that the next person can build off of the last post; try to keep in character; try to keep only a few point-of-views at most so that the thread can easily be followed; try to keep in character of the turtles and X-Men--if you don't know how an X-Man acts, ask for help from another player; most importantly, have fun.

After much time, over the span of a couple weeks, Lila was finally able to find a way onto the roof of the mansion without disturbing Ororo in her attic as she normally did. Eventually the two girls made good friends with each other, since they both had a love for the world outside of human touch, and because they both felt a connection to the earth. Lila didn't know how to describe her connection, especially not as easily as the Weather Witch, but she felt that the reason was because she wasn't completely human. In fact, she had given her species--as small as it was--a name: Homo felius. In a gentler, more friendly way, half cat, half human. Lila only stood about four and a half feet tall, and she was covered in ear to tail tip in fur. Her limbs weren't proportioned in the same way that humans or cats were, either. She and the few others she knew were a completely different species.

Sitting on the rough surface of the roof, Lila watched the sun as it set over the lake. She couldn't see the horizon clearly, since there was a small forest between the mansion and the water, but Lila felt that that was perfect. Like any cat, and like Nightcrawler, she didn't like water. She didn't like getting wet, because the water logged her down and her coat became too heavy. When Lila was talking with Kurt, she found that Kurt had similar feelings about his fuzzy coat he was born with. No matter where Lila went in the mansion, she found friends, though Ororo and Kurt were her closest, because she could relate to them more easily. She was also very much attached to Donatello, because it was he who saved her from a clan of ninjas called the Foot and because he had taken the time out of his days to get to know her and to calm her down. Of course, she had other good friends as well, namely Logan, Piotr and Leo.

(Before I begin, should I post a profile of my OC?)

As long as you get their basic physical attributes down in the first thread, we'll be able to understand 'em, I think. I didn't do that great of a job at doing that, but I have played Lila on this site before. I'll do a better job with the next OC I pull into here, since I plan to play two.

A cloaked person slowly walked up to the mansion's front door. Her
face was shadowed by the hood, and only two shoes peeked out from
underneath her cloak as she walked. She stopped in front of the door,
and looked from left, to right, to left again, and then back to the
door. She raised a hand, and started to knock, but then hesitated. She
whirled around, her eyes darting to and fro. A noise had
startled her, and she dashed into some nearby bushes. She wiped her
face, the strain she was under had made her face start to sweat. The
noise had turned out to be some birds that found a worm, and were
quarreling about who gets it. The girl briefly relaxed, then gathered
up the courage to go back to the door and knock. Making sure she was
never seen along the way, she slid back to the door. She raised her
hand, and knocked this time. *Knock knock knock* She removed
her hood, and waited for an answer.

Watching the sunset had always put a sense of calm over Regnet. Even though the day had been sort of hot, making his gloved hands a bit sweaty. How Rogue dealt with it, he didn't really know. It was just something he'd gotten used to. He closed his eyes, some of the sun's light seeping in through his eyelids anyway, and brought up Storm's power. This was a bit harder than bringing up someone like, say Jean, who'd he'd taken more recently than Storm, who'd accidentally touched him when she found him two years ago.

Regnet made a light breeze sweep through the mansion's campus, then let it die down and put Storm "away". He sighed, looking out into the forest, like it held the answer to all his problems. He looked at his arms, the white of his skin and the dark black of the gloves cutting a deep contrast on his wrist, where the gloves ended. His long, yet not as long as Nightcrawler, his roomate's hair, was a bit of a mess, the permanent deep red bangs he'd gotten from absorbing Jean when she had become the Phoenix swept across his forehead and into his eyes somewhat.

He remembered it like it was yesterday: Almost immeadiately after Jean had been stabbed by Logan, Phoenix had appeared to Regnet. A fiery light surrounded her like she was a goddess come to Earth. And she spoke to him in a voice that was cold, but at the same time beautiful. It was also a voice that held a vast amount of power. "Free me. All your problems will be gone if you do." she'd said, and she held out her hand to him. Regnet had looked around, wondering if anyone else was seeing her, but they were all watching Wolverine, who was holding Jean's "body". Regnet had seen with his own eyes the destruction Dark Phoenix had caused, but he found himself reaching out with his bare hand towards hers- he never wore gloves in battle- and when his skin brushed her fingers, the tremendous amount of power the Phoenix possesed almost overwhelmed him. The fiery light grew a bit dimmer on Jean's body, and Regnet could feel the very essence of Phoenix flowing into him, parts of her mind connecting with his, the fiery light becoming manifest in his eyes, then she was gone, and Regnet saw Jean's body jerk and open her eyes. He looked at his hands, the glow of the Phoenix fading a bit from them. So, he brought her up, hearing the part of her mind he now possesed in his and he concentrated on lifting one of the rocks by him- He'd ended up lifting all of them.

Regnet forced himself away from those thoughts, and his mind wandered to the mansion's newest arrivals: four turtles named Donatello, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Leonardo. Strange names, then again, Regnet wasn't one to comment. His name meant "rain" in German, and his sister's name was Rogue. He hadn't had the chance to meet them, well, actually, he'd seen one of them, in an orange colored headband, comment on what he guessed was Regnet and Rogue's hair, Rogue standing next to him at the time, but another one slapped him. He knew he would meet them sooner or later, even in this big mansion, it was hard to not eventually know alot of people. They weren't being trained by the Prof like the others at the mansion were, but instead seemed to follow some sort of Japanese martial arts. They didn't seem to have any powers, either, so Regnet guessed it was just their looks that made them mutants.

Her eyes were drifting shut when she heard a knocking. Her acute sense of hearing told her where it was coming from, and that happened to be at the front of the mansion. It was unusual for someone to knock at the door, unless it was a parent visiting their child, so she decided to investigate.

Using all four of her paws, she slowly padded across the roof until she was at the edge. Craning her neck, she kept her paw pads firmly on the roof's surface as she looked downwards. A cloaked figure was directly beneath her, hesitating at the top step that led into the mansion's door. Since Lila was a quiet character herself, she stayed perched at her little roost without making a sound. The only movement was the slight adjustments of her cat-like ears and a twitch of her tail every few seconds.

After a few moments, Lila heard other movement coming from inside the mansion. The shuffling reached the door, and when the footsteps stopped, the glass door was opened. Although Lila couldn't see who it was, she knew by his voice that it was Scott Summers, field leader of the X-Men. "Good evening," he said, and Lila could detect a slight pitch to his voice that suggested he was confused and mildly interested at the same time. "May I ask why you have come to the mansion, and especially at such a late hour of the day?" One thing Lila liked about Scott was his ability to phrase things. Since Lila was a foreigner to America, she had a different way of speaking herself, and she somehow found it nice to listen to somehow that quickly understood what she was trying to say, and even spoke in somewhat of the same language.

After she had took her hood off, a golden furry head with whiskers and
two ears had emerged. She stood tall, and was 5' 6". She looked up at Scott with sun-glistening emerald eyes and asked, "Um, i-is Master Splinter here?" Her instincts told her to run at the moment she was seen by anyone, as she had done all of her life, but she kept going. "He told me to meet him here..." Her voice trailed off. A familiar shyness overcame her, and she couldn't speak any more. Her ears flickered like radar, listening for any movement behind her as a precaution.

Regnet left his room, tired of looking at the forest. He shrugged on a green trenchcoat similar to Rogue's, except his was a dark, almost navy blue. He planned on going outside, maybe to the lake and walk around the shore a bit. Dark Phoenix's personality was stronger than the others he'd absorbed, able to speak to him even when he wasn't using her power. Though, that could be because she was the power he kept on secondary at all times, so most of the time, his mind was linked to hers.

Regnet walked down the mansion's warmly lit hallways, passing by Bobby Drake, who was moving something into his room. He gave Bobby a nod, which Bobby returned. Regnet still didn't know what the deal was with Bobby and Rogue. They were sort of hot and cold, and Regnet was at the point to where he barely really cared. "It's her life, not mine." Regnet thought, but was pulled away from them when he bumped into someone in the entrance area. "Watch it!" he said, and he heard some of the Phoenix's coldness in his voice. He looked up to see who it was, and his eyes were met with one of those turtles. It was the one wearing orange who'd made fun of his and Rogue's hair. Regnet could feel the Phoenix stirring inside his mind, as if she were preparing for something, but ignored her, staring at the turtle.

Scott blinked at the character's revelation of her face, but after living around mutants for countless years, it didn't phase him much. There were plenty of misanthropic mutants around the mansion: The four turtles, Nightcrawler, Lila and the rat, Splinter and even Beast.

"You don't have to be afraid," Scott told her, his voice soft. He hoped that his covered eyes didn't unnerve her, because if he were to take his ruby glasses off, a force beam strong enough to pulverize a semi-truck, easily, would assault the mutant. Only ruby quartz and his eyelids could stop his force beams, since he had suffered a concussion when he was little and had no control over the power.

Before Scott could say anything more to the mutant, or even step aside to let her into the mansion's lobby, Lila decided that if this mutant--cat as well?--knew about Master Splinter, she would have to investigate who it was. Donatello was the first kind person she had met upon entering a stone jungle called New York City, but Master Splinter was equally nice to her, if at all possible, even more. Lila was friends with the whole family, and it was because of them five that she was at the X-Men mansion as well. So Lila jumped from the two story roof and landed on her four paws on the ground, grateful that she was more cat-like than human-like in structure so that most of the shock was absorbed. She still felt a slight tingling down her legs, but it didn't matter much.

Trotting forward like an overgrown cat, she walked up so that she was beside the golden newcomer and sat down. Scott's invisible eyes were trained on where Lila was, and she gave him a little smile.

"Hello," she said to the stranger. "I can take you to Master Splinter." She blinked her large, blue eyes and stood up to her full height. She wasn't a tall creature, only standing at four foot seven inches, so she figured she wouldn't be at all intimidating to the new mutant. Also, she felt that they were a lot alike, because they both had cat-like qualities, and she hoped that that would bring some calmness to the situation.

The cat-girl turned her ears toward the cat creature as she faced her. She began reading her expression, and after a few seconds relaxed a little more and said, "Thank you." Still feeling nervous, she felt the need to place her hood back on, but resisted, and calmly waited for the cat to lead the way.

Crystal was hanging around the pool waiting for her father, Logan, to emerge from the mansion to start her private training. Pulling her long, curly brown hair into a bun, Crystal adjusted her black X-Man jummper sleaves so they were no longer resting at her elbows, but at her wrists. Her belt hung lopsided on her waist and her black high-heeled boots came up to her calfs. Around her neck was a crimson cape to reflect her X-Man name, Crimson Majix. While having no real magic, when using the four main elements, earth, air, water, and fire, her eyes turned red and a crimson aura surounded her. Nothing like that happened when she used her enhanced scenses, used her claws, or her claws.

Crystal sighed after ten minutes of waiting. It was hot out and her costume was baking her alive, even in the shade of the school that reached the edge of the pool. She was contemplaiting jumping in, but her costume would be ruined. She heard the unmistakeable sound of the back door opeining and she looked to see one of the new trutle muants exit. He had a blue bandana and two swords sheethed on his shell. Considering how quietly and carefuly he walked, she was guessing he was highly trained in some sort of martial art, since you had to be to walk that quietly. He looked over to her and nodded once before starting to streach before doing some simple katas. Crystal decided to watch him as a means entertainment while she waited for her father.

"What is your name?" Lila asked, her voice soft and shy. She kept her ears perked up to show that she was friendly, but there was no way that she was going to suddenly become bold just in one day.

Her ears flickered, as she heard many voices, but then ignored them once she heard the cat in front of her ask a question. "Aster Flown," she replied. "May I ask, what is your name?", Aster asked as she walked behind her. Her two back paws were starting to ache from having to wear human shoes, but it was part of her disguise when she was traveling to the large mansion. It was more important to see Master Splinter right now than worry about her paws, so she temporarily ignored them.

The only ears that would be able to pick up the sound would be the most sensitive of them, like Lila's were.

Aster gave Lila a small bow and smiled a 'thank you'. She then
turned to Splinter and bowed. He was sitting in the middle of his room
playing chess against himself. He beckoned her to sit down, and so she
did. Aster tried sitting down like she would normally, as cat's do, but
the shoes and cloak got in her way, so she just sat with her legs
underneath her. From this pose, her long tail poked out from
underneath her cloak. It was quite obvious to Splinter that she was not
used to wearing such an outfit, but waited patiently for his guest to
speak.

"Long ago... you and your sons helped my family. During the
process, you were captured and I rescued you. After everything, you
told me if I needed anything, anything at all, that you would be there
for me." Aster paused and waited for Splinter to respond.

Splinter had no trouble remembering that day, and asked,"Has
something else occurred that I do not know of?"

Aster's ears flicked back, and her whiskers drooped."I am
afraid so." Sorrow filled her furry face, and her brow furrowed as
she fought back tears, remembering everything.Upon seeing her sadness, Splinter pushed his chess game to the side, and
completely focused on Aster."Would you like to tell me?" He
asked.

Aster looked down for a moment, then looked back up and nodded. She
took a deep shaky breath, and began. "You and my father had been in
contact for quite some time, by writing letters. I remember taking the
envelopes to the mail carrier. The people that... had wanted Dad's technology... were back... a-and they came during the night... wi-with guns and ropes and and and... *Sniffle*" The tears that she had been holding back could no longer be contained. She began to cry a little, and her quiet sniffles started to get louder. Splinter put a comforting arm around her shoulders. "They're gone. *wiper* *sniffle* A-and I couldn't stop th-them... I w-w-was afr-raid... *shiver* *sniffle*" She buried her face in her paws and cried some more. Splinter, who was used to his son's emotions, more than a daughter, hesitated, not knowing what to do right away. He decided to place his other arm around her shoulders and gave her a little squeeze, and Aster hugged him back; just glad that someone she knew was there with her.

"There, there, Aster. Don't cry. Everything will be... alright." He noticed that she had stopped her crying, and was listening to him. He let her go, stood, and helped her up. Aster wiped the tears from her eyes. "Do you have a place to stay Aster?" He asked.

She shook her head 'no', and said, "They're after me as well... I was lucky to escape."

Splinter sighed, not knowing really what to do. There were so many questions to ask, but right now was not a good time to ask. She would need a place to rest and recuperate.

Kayley was drawing calmly in her room. It was a bit difficult to draw with gloves but she got used to them. She could never take them off because everything she touched, disappeared but fortunately, her friend Donatello gave her those gloves.
Suddenly, someone knocked on the door. She knew who he was so, she immediately opened the door. It was Raphael. He was an old friend of hers. They had a lot in common, for example they both liked bikes and fighting but one thing Raphael didn´t like was Science. Kayley loved Sciece. Sometimes she spent whole afternoons talking with Don about that.
She and Raph had decided to go to the pool, just to relax a bit.

Kayley asked Raph who was that girl that was looking at them a few seconds ago. He responded that she was a friend. Kayley looked at him with a surprised face.
"If she´s your friend, why didn´t you talk to her?" she questioned him and he said that he had no idea.
When they arrived at the pool, a lot of people were there. The girl wave at Leo, Crystal and the others. Kayley grabbed Raph´s arm and she pushed him into the pool. Strangely, he was not angry and instead, he laughed.

Crystal had gone in and changed by now after Logan came out and told her that he didn't feel like training her in this heat. She was now dressed in green. She had a green corset top with attatched green mini skirt over a sightly puffy sleaved button up shirt. Around her neck was a loosly tied orange bow. She had knee high black stockings and black Marie Janes on as well. Her hair was tied up into two curly pig tails with fake green streaks in them. All in all, anormal outfit for her, since Chris was known for her funky clothes.

Turning to the girl sitting next to her she said, "I'm Crystal Howlett, and you are?" she asked, waving to Regnet. She now saw two turtles here now. One in red, the other in blue. She sitll had yet to learn their names and it was against her natural anti-socail behavior to go up and randomly talking to someone. The other person had to make the first move, most of the time. If she got curious enough, she would talk to them, but right now, her curiosity could be contained.

Kayley and Raph came out of the pool, grabbed a towell and went to talk to Leo. Since it was a bit cold, and she was only wearing a swimsuit and her special gloves, Kayley sneezed. Raphael gave her his towell and she said thanks. In that moment, the girl noticed that other girl was looking at them. She was sat next to Lila. Kayley didn´t know Lila, but the turtles did. She sugested that they should go talk to them. Leo agreed, waved at the two girls and the three of them went to talk to them. "Hi! My name´s Leonardo but you can call me Leo. This is Raphael and this is Kayley. What´s your name?" Leo asked to the girl and smiled.

Crystal looked at the Kayley and the two turtles. First the cat girl and now them? That was suprising to her since she wasn't good with people. She had a small group of friends that put up with her personality. Sometimes she was quiet and reserved other times she was loud and crazy, and sometimes she was snippy and rude. She wasn't bipolar, but no one who knew her could deny that she had anger issues. "Crystal Howlett. I'm Logan's kid," she said, not knowing if they'd know who Logan was.

She noticed how quietly the turtles walked and eyed their weapons. Leo had a nice set of katanas and Raphael had a beautiful pair of Sai, both oringinaly Samurai weapons, which was what she was training to be. "What kinda martial arts do you two do? Probably ninjitzu, am I correct? Ya hardly make a sound when ya walk. Takes skill ta avoid the reach of my hearing."
